Mooring Magnets

When trying to moor a smaller boat such as a work boat or a rib to a larger ship with a high freeboard, finding a stuitable mooring bollard may a complicated story. 

Blumags' Willy series is a quick and simple way to moor your working boat directly to the side of a ship or other steel surface. Simply attach the magnet to the hullside and voilà - a mooring point at your disposal.

Depending on weather conditions and the size of your boat, you may choose between 500 kg (1100 lbs) or 800 kg (1750 lbs). Note that the actual holding force may be somewhat less due to airgap caused by rust, paint or uneven hull surfaces. Thick layers of marine growth should always be scraped off before attaching the magnet.
